FOLTER industrial filters for air cleaning in gas turbine air intake units are usually used as part of a multi-stage dust collection system or a self-cleaning system with cartridge industrial air filters. FOLTER industrial filters for gas turbines include the following air-cleaning stages:
Stage I - a moisture separator (mesh, fiber or polyurethane foam) of the FyaR-V, FyaP-V or FM-RPPU type.
The moisture separator removes large dust particles and captures rain and snow droplets.
Stage II - coarse dust removal for particles larger than 5-10 microns, using FyaG panel or pleated industrial filters, or FyaK pocket industrial filters.
Stage III - fine dust removal for particles of 0.5-0.8 microns using FyaS-KT compact industrial filters.
For these applications FOLTER manufactures FyaS-KT compact filters in classes F6 to F9.
Industrial air filters for stages I, II and III can be installed in special FOLTER MP air filter modules, as well as in FOLTER SSF-T dust-cleaning sections with capacity up to 100,000 m3/h.
A self-cleaning dust removal system includes industrial filters made of large-sized metal structures with automatic compressed-air pulse cleaning of FOLTER FEP cartridge air filters.
